Technology Timeline
This technology integration plan is based on the ICT curriculum guidelines and curriculum for my grade 3 and 4 students. My students have been using technology throughout the year and are familiar with the technology that we have available in our school. The timeline is only a small part of integrating technology into my classroom because we use technology on a daily basis to find information, watch video, complete assignments, listen to audio books or audio files, and share information. April 2010 |
Language Arts: Students will be writing autobiographies in April. Students will be using Comic Life to display their autobiographies and sharing it with their peers. Technology: Computers using Comic Life and digital cameras.

May-June 2010 |
Social Studies: As part of the unit on culture and heritage students will use the video cameras to act out important event in Canadian history. I will help students edit their videos and we will watch the finished products on the LCD projector.
Technology: Computers, laptop, video camera, and projector.

September-October 2010 |
Technology Tools - At the start of each year I go over some of the available software on the classroom computers. Students have an opportunity to take digital pictures of hands-on activities and present them to the class. Technology: Computer programs, Smartboard, video cameras, digital cameras and projector. |

November-December 2010 |
Biography Projects - Students completed biography projects by completing research on the computer and then had a chance to video the presentation and share it with the class.

January-February 2010 |
Comic Life-The class has been using Comic Life to construct their own comics and present them to the class using the projector.
Video/Audio- Students have been recording projects in both a video version and in an audio version. The projects have been based on their favorite author and on the Canada Winter Games.

Stop Motion Animation - During the months of March and April I will be introducing stop motion animation to my class and let them construct scenes using Lego, take photos, and edit their projects using Moviemaker.
